Most colour repair calls I receive start the same way: a harsh, oxidising spotter has destroyed a fine rug or carpet.

I'm Gabriel Andreca, a professional restorer and WoolSafe Certified Trainer. I run Brio Carpet Care, our family-run restoration workshop, and created Brio Dyes, the first WoolSafe Approved colour repair dyes. I teach advanced stain removal and colour repair to carpet and rug professionals across the UK, Europe, the USA and Australia.

In my experience, the real damage is rarely the stain itself. It's what was used to treat it. Wool and silk are the finest fibres in the home, and the first to suffer when the wrong chemistry goes on them.

The same field experience is behind our trade range. When I began working with sisal, seagrass and jute, there were no trade methods to follow, and most cleaners simply wouldn't touch them. I developed the stain removal and colour repair methods myself, then created the first dyes dedicated to these fibres. Our Sisal Tannin Stain Reducer comes straight out of that work.
